The Reader


This photo was taken before I knew what I was doing with the camera. (Which still may be the case.) In the low light the shutter speed was slow and I didn't have a tri-pod so it blurred the image. Also, in low light using manual focus it is difficult to see when the image is in focus. The auto focus doesn't seem to be very accurate in these lighting situations. I did some very slight alterations in Photoshop and this is the result.

PS: This was a candid photo taken from across the room using the zoom.
PPS: For any curious types, Fujifilm S7000, Shutter: 1/8 sec. F-stop: 3.1, 400 ISO...
