I have some great memories with that vehicle. Not the least of which was the Mohave Desert meteor shower night!
Awww. Poor thing. Me? I'm doing the debt for another 5 years. Out of a car and into a Nissan Frontier truck.
Hope you weren't hurt in this. Forget the Minivan - go for the truck. You sound like the uncharted paths call to you and a Minivan won't take you there. Better yet, a Jeep!
Gauging from the damage, the tree attacked you from both sides. I think you report tree attacks to the National Arbor Society. They probably have policies that cover things like this.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't think I was hurt in the "attack" but I must have bashed my head or something to have considered a minivan...No, I've opted for the five year plan and will be in a larger, hopefully tree proof, truck by this time tomorrow. F-150 Lariat 4x4 extra cab man machine! It will come in handy taking me back and forth to work so I can pay for the 5.4 liters of gas guzzling go anywhere happy fun time truck.
PS: Forget the Arbor Society, I'm taking this one to Stihl. PAX
